Man there has been so much going on lately! My best friends are having a baby and I mean soon! She is like a week or two out and I couldn't be more excited. They are going to be great parents and I can't wait to see that little girl for the 1st time, she will have so many people around her to love and care for her and will have 2 of the most wonderful parents in the world! Nate (one of the above mentioned and my best friend) has had a very busy time lately, his sister as well as his wife was pregnant at the same time and his sister just had her little boy this past week, Jude was born under the full moon this past weekend that seems to bring so many babies, so a huge congratz to Rachel and Justin.
Other than that in my own life we had to push back the wedding a bit due to my fiance's car dying and me being sick of messing with the damn thing and taking her into Springfield to buy a new one, best part about this was she was able to do it totally on her own! No co-signer no help from anyone, she picked it did all the paperwork and drove it off the lot all on her own. We are very happy to have 2 cars that run well and I am happy not to have to worry about her when she is driving to Springfield every day. Anyway the wedding was moved to next sept. we have not nailed down a day just yet but we will be getting to that very soon!
Jasper (my puppy I found on the side of the hwy) has come around from the little guy he was to a 25 pound horse with an endless supply of energy, but he is learning quicker than I thought he would at 1st and is starting to grown into a very good dog :). I don't have alot else but hopefully I'll be back to do this again before a year from now, hell I would be happy with once a month!

Been away
I've not done this in a while and while I would like to say that this would be the start of me blogging more often I really can't make that promise either. You ever just have one of those days? The type that alot of things that have been bothering you just go away for one reason or another, the day that kinda defines how many many days to come are going to be from now on. I had one of them yesterday, and while I'm not going to go into all the details the basic point is that now there is no way I could be any happier with where I am in my life (other than getting to move back to Springfield but we are not gonna go there right now) The people in my life could not be more amazing if they tried and that's the amazing part....they don't they just are who they are and its hard to believe that such a diverse group of people can all get along on a regular basis but we do. We all find common things that rally us around each other be them fun things or major life events and if that's not a family then I'm really not sure what is. So to my friends thank you for nothing else than being you.
Ok switching gears big time to the NFL because as many people know I'm a very passionate person and dammit I miss football!! My fiance' became a football fan over this last year she is a Steelers fan completely on her own accord, and one of my best friends Rachel became a fan of the NFL as well, me and Nate just get more lucky everyday with these ladies in our lives, she is a Cardinals fan and before you start judging the bandwagon fan she has been a Kurt Warner fan since she was about 15 I can vouch for that! The problem is there is no more damn football only news about whiny people like Jay Cutler and his poor baby bruised ego that Denver would trade him, it is a sad day indeed that I look at a player and say "you know what Phillip Rivers is not so bad" So the things we can look forward to one being Jay Cutler shutting up and ending up somewhere like Oakland where he can finish out his career insignificantly and 2 the NFL draft coming up in a few weeks, its small things but they keep me going in the months we don't get to watch.
I am although for the 1st time since the Cardinals won the world series exited about watching some Baseball this year, I'm really not sure what brought that on but around the end of last season I kinda got that bug and watched some Rays games. More than anything I think its my love for the underdogs, but fact is I enjoyed it and if it can pass some time for me to get back to football I'm all for it.
Lastly I'm gonna give some love to the NHL i was sitting at old Chicago and found my eyes kept drifting to the Pittsburg vs New Jersey game that was on the TV above my head. I've been a hockey "fan" most my life but never watched on a regular basis this might be something that changes a bit while football is in off season as well cause lets face it fighting is still legal in the NHL and what other sport has a guy that goes on the ice just to kick someones ass? Not only that but I think some luster is being brought back to the game, with Sidney Crosby playing like the great one, and as much as it pains me to say Martian Broduar breaking Patrick Roy's all time win record. At least the game is getting some stories again, and with the love for alot of players in baseball slipping this might be a really good time for the NHL.
Cheers I love you all!

Las Vegas
Few places on this earth are better for fun that Las Vegas Nevada. There are so many things to do and so many places to see that its hard to get it in all in one visit, but dammit I'm gonna try. We are going for our Gamestop manager conference so after meetings with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft as well as some of the other bigger gaming companies the town is ours to pretty much do what we will. This will be my 2nd trip to Vegas and there are so many things I missed the 1st time its like going again for the 1st time, so Mandalay Bay here we come and I'm sure I'll have all kinds of things to post about when I get back.

Moving
Is there any real way to get around the fact that moving sucks? Sure getting a new house is awsome amd there are plenty on things about the old one you don't like, but man packing and getting it all moved is just not cool. I'm really exited to get it all unpacked and get in the new house, figureing out where everything goes and buying stuff for the new house are always really cool, so really I suppose its only the begginging that sucks I tend to like the rest of it.
Speaking of moving, Michal Phelps?!?! Really? 8 gold medals 7 world records and an olympic record. Even if you don't call him the greatest althlete in the world (which he most likely is) you have to put him in the conversation with Tiger and Federer. Master of his craft.

"They are Villains Clair"
Oh man, am i ready for this. I just finished watching the 2nd season of heros again so my girlfriend could catch up, then I watched the trailer for season 3. I know season 2 lost alot of people but i still found it pretty enjoyable (not near up to the standards of the 1st season).
The third season looks amazing and from week to week I will look forward to counting down the days till i get to see next weeks episode I'm sure, if you have not seen it yet you have no idea what you are missing, and if you stopped watching the 2nd season because you got bored or whatever, watch this and I think you might finish!

Not to meantion Mt.Vernon has a Mazzios pizza which is sick! So it will be fun I think and I won't be to far from springfield

Midnight Launch
So Madden released last night and i was at my store for about 12 hours last night so that about 45 people could come and pick up the game, question is was it worth mine and everyone elses time.
At my store seeing as how we went through 45 copies of the game I would say yes, but I overheard my DM talking and some other stores had maybe 4 show I can't see the use in this and we do it time and time again, well I should say I couldn't see the use in thsi before but if anyone saw the Wal-Mart commercial for madden they knew it was going to be available at midnight and where they could pick it up thus all of our stores had to be opened to try and combat it, tbh gamestop really dropped the ball this is awsome check it out
